CNN: The month of November has been a poignant one for Russia and its fight against corruption. It began on November 5, with a series of whistle-blowing video postings on the Internet from police Major Alexey Dymovskiy, who served in the city of Novorossiysk (Krasnodar region). CNN’s Mike Sefanov reports on Internet video postings exposing corruption in Russia’s police forces.
Wikipedia: Alexey Dymovskiy (born 28 August 1977) is a former Novorossiysk City Police Department officer who became famous for speaking out against police corruption.
In his video he appeals to Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and claims that corruption is endemic in the Russian police force - and practices such as accusing innocent people in order to meet official crime detection targets, and taking money to frame innocent people, are widespread.
